Here are the progression sketches of Kayla as The Bride from Kill Bill, as commissioned by her husband Josh. This was an exciting commission because the colors were going to be so vibrant and beautiful, I could really have some fun with the painting. The fact that Kayla’s is a redhead added an even nicer balance to the drawing. In the end, I’m very happy with the end result. I hope to do more of these commissions - husbands and boyfriends for their significant others. They seem to be a lot of fun and also make a great, unique gift.
