The Assembly Line

Finished and Unfinished Art By Cartoonist/Illustrator Len Peralta

Final color on the Batman/Catwoman pinup.  This was a lot of fun, partly because the subjects were so fun to draw.  Christine (who commissioned the drawing) was a great quick study - her looks were made to be in comics. And her boyfriend posed an interesting challenge.  Do I show him with his cowl and risk having the drawing not look like him?  In the end, she chose to have the cowl removed to expose his identity.  I would love to do more takes on this theme - the Cat and the Bat.  This was a good commission to come home to.
I’ve got a lot of art to work through in the next few days.  Hopefully, I can get a good handle on it.  I’m also still available for commissions on geeky pinups, so please feel free to contact me using the “Commission” button at the top of the page.
